Yet again, another Ragnar this year. This time it was more of a family affair. I talked Jeff into joining me and start running, for fun. I was the team captain of "Legs Miserables" and Jeff, Amy, Heather and her two family members Josh & Reily were in our van.
We had to carb up, so we had Cold Stone ice cream for our van the night before. We stayed in an awesome hotel in San Francisco near the start line. It was very sub-par, but it was perfect for a 4 hour sleep.
We woke up at 3:30 to get to the start line by 4:15. Our start time was 5am.

Kristen at just before the night run...9.2 miles. At the end of my night run it started raining a bit, and then when I passed the baton off to Jeff it was pouring rain. Apparently Van 2 ran almost all their legs in the pouring rain, which pretty much stinks. They were all glad to get out of their wet clothes and dry off.

Finally done with our legs, and we refueled at IHOP. We can finally relax and drive to the finish line and wait for Van 2.
