We drove to the west side of the island and went to Gazebo's for breakfast. There was a long wait for banana macadamia nut pancakes. Gazebo's was worth the wait!
After our pancake breakfast, we went to Honolua Bay for snorkeling. We saw lots of fish and found a digital underwater camera. Unfortunately, we lost our own underwater camera we bought.
We went to Nakalele Blowhole. You can hear the force of the blowhole and it can shoot 70 feet in the air. We saw beautiful landscape along the way.
On the West side, we found a hidden gem called Olovine Pools. There are numerous natural lava swimming pools. We went swimming in the deepest pool and enjoyed the amazing swim. It was worth the long trek to this unexpected oasis.
After our drive around the West side we arrived in Kahului and we stopped at the Geste Shrimp truck. Kristen has the shrimp scampi and Jeff had spicy pineapple shrimp. We both LOVED the crab macaroni salad. It was delicious.
We couldn't help ourselves and we went to Kimo's again and this time we had the chef's special Hula pie, made with tropical sherbet.
