The Fish Hatchery

We have been working on our summer list and one of the things on the list was feeding ducks. We went to Lake Natoma where we saw ducks before. We struck out. We saw one duck but it wouldn't come close to us.

When we decided it was a complete bust we started walking back to the car. On the way we saw a sign that said not to feed the wildlife.

We went across the street and decided to feed the fish at the Fish Hatchery instead. I gave the kids $1 to spend on fish food. They enjoyed throwing the food in the water and watching the fish jump out of the water and compete for food. They love coming here and feeding the fish.
